Anastazija Drongovskij is an intern at OrganoVIR Labs at Amsterdam UMC (location AMC). She obtained her BSc in Biomedical Sciences from VU Amsterdam and is currently pursuing MSc in Biomedical Sciences at Leiden University, with a focus on research. Her current project investigates congenital cytomegalovirus infection using an in vitro human trophoblast organoid model. She will continue with a PhD, further researching cytomegalovirus infections in intestinal and brain organoid models.
