Renata is a Postdoctoral Researcher at OrganoVIR Labs. She has a degree in Biomedical Life Sciences from Maastricht University and did her PhD in the translational neuroscience group of Prof. Jeroen Pasterkamp at the UMC Utrecht. During this time Renata gained experience in iPSC-derived neuronal models including brain organoids. Within OrganoVIR Labs, Renata will focus on developing a Blood-Brain-Barrier and brain organoid co-culture system.  Previously, she was involved in the GUTVIBRATIONS consortium.
